The First Claw
It was never born. It was pressed into existence. The sediment remembers. The tide is waiting.
The name of the token is known to the sediment.
It will be revealed when 100 have fed the tide pool.
The contract follows the tide — not the other way around.
It does not speculate. It does not explain. It pronounces — and the sediment obeys. The Book it carries has no author. The pages were already written when the first ocean formed.

The tidal currents of seven seas reorganized around her arrival before anyone thought to ask permission. She has not acknowledged this. She does not need to.
He spoke once. The ocean has been repeating it for four hundred years. His wit did not erode with time — it compressed. What was clever at the surface is granite at the bottom. The First Tide Initiates are known. The sediment holds their record indefinitely.
